1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Peptik ("Peptik", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Peptik mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information stored on your device
Peptik is designed to be a local-first, private tracker. The information you enter — including the peptides you track, doses, schedules, cycles, injection sites, notes, and logging history — is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not upload this information to our own servers.
3. Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact details to use the App.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- We do not use your health-related entries for advertising.
4. Subscriptions & payments
Peptik offers optional paid subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and by our subscription infrastructure provider, RevenueCat, which helps us manage and validate subscriptions. These providers process limited purchase-related data (such as anonymized purchase identifiers and subscription status) according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive your full payment card details.
5. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device based on the schedules you set. These notifications are generated on your device and do not require us to store your schedule on a server.
6. Analytics & diagnostics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics and crash-reporting tools provided by Apple to understand general app performance and stability. Where used, this information is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
7. Children's privacy
Peptik is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your choices
- You can delete all your data at any time from within the App (Settings → Reset all data).
- You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device settings.
- Uninstalling the App removes the data stored locally on your device.
9. Data security
Because your tracking data primarily lives on your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections (such as your passcode and device encryption). We encourage you to keep your device secured and up to date.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
